22.02.2022 Participation in Congress V “Hydraulic engineering utilities and dredging”
Congress V "Hydraulic engineering utilities and dredging" organized by media group “Portnews” took place in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation on February 16-17, 2022.
Design bureau “Fleet project” presented a report “Experience in construction of technical fleet in Astrakhan region”.
The report contains information on creation of shallow-draft non-self-propelled scow FPHB1 with capacity 110 cu m, non-self-propelled multi-bucket dredger FPDR1 with capacity 250 cu m/h and shallow-draft push-tug FPTG1 with output 440 kW.

Use: transportation of soil from dredgers and dumping.

Use: performance of dredging operations on heavy cohesive and non-cohesive soils of categories I-V (in accordance with the instruction on dredging operations approved by the River fleet Ministry of the Russian SFSR dated 11.05.1989).
Ship's class: The ship shall be designed and constructed for the class of the Russian River Register (hereinafter - RRR): “X О2.0 (Ice 10) А”.

The main problems when using dredges and other technical fleet designed as per foreign projects were noted - high cost and delivery time of spare parts and consumables, lack of documentation for ship and process equipment, long-term expectation of technical specialists from the equipment manufacturer and so on.
As an alternative to foreign dredges, DB “Fleet project” offered non-self-propelled cutter-suction dredger FPDG3 with water output 7000 cu m/h.

Non-self-propelled traversing cutter-suction dredger with dredging pump with water output 7000 m3/h.
Architectural and structural type: Non-self-propelled dredger with slot for draghead afore, engine room and spud pole abaft.
Use: performance of dredging operations on sandy, oozy and fluvial soils of categories I-IV (in accordance with GOST 25100-2011 - Soils. Classification). Besides it can be used to perform: canal laying; aggradation of dams and territory for construction.
The dredger makes it possible to transport dredge spoil through a floating pipeline or by means of a dredge spoil thrower that provides throwing of the dredge spoil to both sides.
Ship's class: The ship shall be designed and constructed for the class of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (hereafter - RMRS): КЕ R3-RSN Dredger.
Operation conditions: Inland water ways of the Russian Federation as well as sea areas in accordance with RMRS class. The design ambient air temperature is +50˚С at humidity up to 54% in summer, - 30˚ С at humidity up to 85% in winter. The water salinity value is from 3% to 11%.
